Having babies isn't always as easy as we think it should be. If you have concerns about starting or expanding your family, we are here to help. Our experienced and caring team of board-certified reproductive endocrinologists and lab staff has provided excellent infertility treatment for two decades, beginning with the first Indiana In-vitro Fertilization (IVF) program created in 1983, under the direction of Marguerite Shepard, MD. Michael Henry, MD and William Gentry, MD have been providing ART services to their Indiana patients for 10 and 20 years respectively. In September of 2005, Michael Henry, MD and William Gentry, MD brought that physician and lab expertise together in a smaller infertility-focused setting when they purchased the laboratory from Clarian and renamed it the Center for Reproductive Biology of Indiana (CRBI). Michael Henry MD is the Medical Director for CRBI and Carole Wegner, Ph.D., HCLD continues to serve asfull time on-site board-certified Laboratory Director for CRBI.

Although the laboratory location and hospital affiliations have changed over two decades, most of our affiliated physicians and laboratory staff (the IVF Team) have remained constant. Why? Because we love helping couples create families! At CRBI, you will find the latest advances in infertility treatment coupled with good old-fashioned caring for patients. Our goal is to help you on the road to parenthood. Our patients come first. You'll notice the difference.

CRBI offers the best IVF value in Indianapolis.

Health care is getting more and more expensive. Your IVF staff at CRBI understands that and we are working hard to bring you the best pregnancy outcomes at the lowest possible out-of-pocket fees. Because most of our patients get pregnant from their first IVF cycle, we don’t get their “repeat business” until one or two years later, when they are ready to add to their family. We are happy to wait, it means we are doing our work well.

Your cost in doing IVF with CRBI will be lower than most programs, because our fees are lower. We are able to offer reasonable IVF fees because we keep our overhead low. Historically, we have kept our fees low by not paying for expensive advertising campaigns, and instead, relying on word-of-mouth advertising from our patients. We don’t spend our money on fancy offices either. We choose to spend our money on the best IVF culture medium, laboratory equipment and most importantly, on our extremely qualified and experienced IVF staff. We put our money toward achieving the best pregnancy rates in Indianapolis. We think that’s the bottom line. Don’t you?

CRBI Laboratory fees: $3200-3700

Please keep in mind that the CRBI fees quoted above ($3200-3700) are not the only fees for an IVF procedure.The total fee for an IVFprocedure also includes physician office fees, hospital fees and fertility medicines. Please contact these providers directly for up-to-date fees. Your total for IVF will vary depending on your treatment needs. Out-of-pocket fees may actually be much less for you, depending on your insurance coverage for IVF. We accept your in-network coverage reimbursements even if we are an out-of-network provider as long as we can cover our actual costs.

The CRBI Laboratory was recently accredited for the second time by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and again received a perfect score on our on-site laboratory inspection.  No deficiencies were noted.  CRBI is committed to ongoing performance improvements, of which Joint Commission laboratory inspections are only one part.  Board certification of our doctors and also the IVF staff is another part of our ongoing commitment to excellence.
